I’d like to keep Vantage as a competitive advantage for Category 5, but in fairness, I would recommend it to other printers looking to manage all their installation needs.
Our goal was to find a platform that would seamlessly share information between sales, customer service, installers, and, ultimately, the client. After considering several options, we came across Vantage. It seemed to have a similar vision and values to what we wanted to achieve. The unique thing was that it was industry-specific and application-specific, meaning targeted toward installations.
It’s a purpose-driven app, so it controls our installs better than anything we’ve used. We have a production system, email, and text messages. All of that gets joined together in Vantage, so whenever we have a new project, there is a single-source repository of the information we can access. Then everybody knows what’s happening almost in real time.
Vantage makes everyone’s life easier on every level, which is ultimately what you want as a business and also for your client. The installers find the system super simple. They use the app on their phones to take pictures and upload them. They have access to our installation guides and any documentation. It makes their on-site job really easy.
Founded in 2006 in Burlington, Ontario, Category 5 is Canada’s first fully digital large-format printer.
The company operates in the print and advertising industries, offering clients across North America a wide variety of creative solutions, including 3D displays, billboards, hoardings, and more. Their customers include well-known brands such as Pattison Outdoor, Roots, Ikea, and Indigo.
Category 5 handles each project from concept to completion and relies on Vantage to ensure high-quality installations every time.
