Exploring the new Vantage: A conversation with the Product Manager

Roksoliana Sydorska is a Product Manager at Vantage. She and the Vantage team help print and sign shops build robust, profitable installation operations.

In this interview, she gives a behind-the-scenes look at the latest Vantage update, shares what users are saying about the new features, and talks about what’s coming next for the product.

Can you briefly introduce the new Vantage?

Vantage is a platform for print and signage shops that simplifies installation management by creating a centralized workspace where everything comes together.

Vantage allows users to organize workflows, collaborate with teammates, and integrate with other software, saving hours on manual data duplication and replacing dozens of other tools.

With the new update, Vantage became even more user-friendly and fast. It is now packed with a bunch of cool features that help print and sign makers automate their installation workflows and streamline project management in general.

What inspired the Vantage team for the product update?

There were two main drivers.

First, our customers began to handle much bigger installation volumes and needed Vantage to keep up. They wanted a system that was fast, smooth, and reliable, even during their busiest times.

That’s exactly what we’ve delivered. The new Vantage is incredibly fast and responsive, saving time from the moment you open a page. During a recent demo, our customers were amazed at Vantage's speed, they didn’t even realize it was done refreshing because it was that quick.

Second, we had a list of features our customers had been asking for, and we were excited to bring them to life.

Almost every feature in Vantage 4.0 comes directly from customer requests or suggestions. From small time-savers to major workflow improvements, the new Vantage is full of “oh, that’s cool” moments that make managing installation projects much more enjoyable and efficient.

How does Vantage enhance the way teams work day-to-day?

When building this new version of Vantage, we almost started from scratch. We took every feature, even the ones that worked fine, and made them better.

And because we’re such an industry-specific product, we were listening closely to user feedback. If our customers request a feature, chances are, others need it too, so we get it done fast. Some of these improvements were quick to build, but they make a huge difference for teams using them every day.

The new Vantage improves communication for everyone on the team. Instead of relying on emails, calls, or messages, the team works from a central place. That means fewer missed details, fewer revisits, and more profit on installations.

For project managers, Vantage provides better visibility into ongoing and upcoming work. They can plan more effectively, make better use of their installers’ time, and keep projects on track.

There is no need to chase down installation managers for a status update. Project managers can share updates with clients proactively and in real time, keeping the process transparent for them.

With Vantage, print and sign companies can get more done without hiring extra staff. Everyone has more time to focus on solving the real problems, which are the makers and breakers on projects.

What do users say about the new product?

They are saying things like, “Wow, that’s going to save me tons of time.”

For example, Saved Views. Every time users log into Vantage, they land on their custom dashboard tailored to their preferences. Thanks to the filters they've set up earlier, they can easily and quickly access the information that matters most to them.

Another big hit is the Media Library. It’s a dedicated space to store and share all project-related documents. Users say it feels like having their own Google Drive inside Vantage. They can move files around, filter what they need, and manage visibility based on user types.

Overall, people are saying it’s more stable, and features like photo uploads make the whole experience smoother.

Finally, speed and flexibility are huge. Bulk actions allow users to manage large campaigns in minutes, and all the customization lets them play with the product and make it work how they like.

Users love they do not need to wait for anything to load. They just work with the product. It’s all about getting things done faster. They just jump in and get things done.

What long-term plans do you have for Vantage?

We believe industry-specific software and smart automation can help print and sign companies work faster, get better results, and win more clients. More businesses are realizing they don’t need to waste time on manual tasks, they can focus on delivering the best results instead. That’s what will push the whole industry forward.

Our goal is for Vantage to be the go-to tool for project and installation management in this space. When people think about managing their print or install projects, we want Vantage to be the first name that comes to mind.

Over the next year, we’re adding more features to make installation management even smoother. Things like time sheets for installers, PTO, and vacation tracking in the calendar.

Vantage 4.0 is a great starting point for these updates. We’ve built a solid foundation, and now we’re ready to take it to the next level.
